A sofa bed is a huge improvement over the old roll-away beds we use to have in case over-night guests showed up! They have also came a long way in both design and comfort!

Years ago there was few choices when purchasing a sofa bed, but manufacturers have expanded their lines to meet today’s needs! You now have many styles to choose from and no one will even know they’re sitting on a “bed”!

Shopping for a sofa bed is pretty much like shopping for any other sofa. You need to make sure that the sofa is the right size for your room and very comfortable to sit on.

You should always pull the bed out to make sure that it slides out easily. And, lay on the bed for a few minutes to make sure that it’s actually comfortable.

Another thing to consider when purchasing a sofa bed is the construction. Like any other regular sofa, joints that are nailed, stapled or glued won’t last long.
